I was born and raised in Miami where I picked up the game of
golf at age 10. Before playing golf I played many other sports including football,
baseball, hockey, and tennis. However, golf was the sport that caught my
interest the most, so ever since I started playing I have worked towards
becoming the best golfer that I could possibly become. I attended high school at Palmetto High where I played on the golf team. I was First Team All Dade 3 years in a row
and won 3 tournaments. Throughout my adolescence I played in golf tournaments
all over Florida and some around the country. As a result of my performance
throughout junior golf I received an athletic scholarship to the University of
Colorado.
Playing golf for the University of Colorado fulfilled one of my dreams of playing Division I in two different power conferences; Big 12 and Pac 12. It was a great life experience where I had the opportunity to travel around the country, play some of the best golf courses in the world, compete against the best players, (many of whom are on tour now) all while receiving my education. Throughout my collegiate career I got better and better and played in more and more tournaments. I was redshirted my freshman year and by my senior year I was the best player on the team. My stroke average went down every single year while the amount of tournaments I played in increased every year. My stroke average went from 75.9 my redshirt freshman year to 73.12 my senior year. I have two collegiate victories along with many other top finishes. |
After graduating college I turned professional and played for two years. I have won two professional golf tournaments on various mini tours. I had numerous top finishes, became a member of PGA Tour Latin America for the 2014 season, and advanced to second stage of Web.com qualifying school. (For a more detailed list of my playing accomplishments go to the “Playing Resume” tab).
I now want to take all of the knowledge that I have acquired over the years and help others improve their golf games. |
